  What is the value of a car in emission trade?


Let's assume 15,000 km a year with 120g CO2/km, the great announced CO2 standard of the EU. That are 1800 kg CO2 per year. At a price in the emission trade around 20,--EUR per ton, this are only 36.-EUR per year.

At a service life of 15 years, this are unbelievable 540.-EUR. But only at 20.-EUR per ton, it could happen, that the price in emission trading, maybe bacaue of a heavy economic crisis, could crash to 10,-EUR per ton.
